Privacy & cookie policy

Last updated: 17 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data DNS Events collects through dnsevents.eu, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Belgian privacy law.

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare a proposal — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • To follow up on our conversation — our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To run and secure the website — our legitimate interest in a reliable, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Optional cookies — only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
We never sell your data and never use it for automated decision-making.

  • Hostinger (website hosting and server security, EU).
  • Google Ireland (email inbox where enquiry notifications are delivered).
  • Content delivery networks — cdnjs (Cloudflare) and unpkg deliver code libraries used for the website's animations, and Unsplash delivers some of the photos. These providers receive your IP address when your browser loads the files.
Fonts are hosted on our own server, so no data is sent to Google Fonts. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where that happens, transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
